HIV/AIDS Advisor - an upcoming USAID project in India.

Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd. (Cardno) is seeking candidates for a HIV/AIDS Advisor position for an upcoming USAID project in India.

The project will provide an integrated approach to achieving quality service delivery in family planning, maternal health, neonatal and child health and HIV/AIDS with a focus on Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and the national level of India. This position is contingent upon Cardno receiving the project award.

The HIV/AIDS Advisor shall provide the overall strategic framework for HIV/AIDS programming and integration with family planning and maternal and child health services; provide technical support and supervision to facilitate linkages between the facility and the community ensuring a continuum of care.

QUALIFICATIONS:
MPH and 5+ years experience in the development and implementation of HIV/AIDS programs at a district level is required
Experience integrating HIV/AIDS into MCH and FP programs highly desirable
Knowledge of USAID operations, programming, and structure
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Experience working in India and on programs with similar development challenges strongly preferred
Fluency in English required
