Location: Indonesia - Padang Pariaman, West Sumatra
We are currently seeking Assistant Construction Manager for our Padang Pariaman Health Facilities Reconstruction Program. The Assistant Construction Manager will work closely with the Construction Manager in determining specific priorities during the program implementation cycle so as to ensure effectiveness of construction works and related activities.
You will be graduated in civil engineering or construction management. You will have substantial experience relevant to the position; experience in costing, design, tendering and procurement of medium to large scale buildings; good practical skills related to construction project management; experience working with local governments in Indonesia.
You will have appropriate level of capability and experience in construction project management. Previous experience working on AusAID-funded construction Program; experience in procurement, contracting and management of assets and equipment; strong administration skills and proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
The ideal candidate will have a track record in working effectively in a team from varied cultures and professional backgrounds; excellent oral communication skills; excellent reporting skills, including Program scheduling and monitoring and evaluation; strong interpersonal skills and appreciation of cultural sensitivities and strong commitment and determination to protect and promote the integrity and quality of the Program
