Rumoh PMI is a radio program supported by the community outreach program, led by the Indonesian Red Cross. It aims to provide a forum to improve the flow of information between beneficiaries and the Red Cross Red Crescent, Non Governmental Organizations, Government and other institutions, to disseminate information and to raise public awareness about development in Aceh.
In relation to the program, we would like to invite you to participate in the recruitment process of Radio Manager of Rumoh PMI.
Qualification:
- Trained in broadcast industry, good management skills, responsible and detail-oriented, manages time and work load effectively
- At least 3 years of media-related experience
- Experience in business management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a passion for creative thinking
- Superior knowledge of Windows 2003 and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Key Tasks:
• Responsible for day-to-day operation of the station including managing programs, scheduling on and off air staff, dealing with promotions and other advertising issues
• Monitoring and evaluating the quality of the station and meeting all requirements and regulations with regards to programming
• Motivating and managing sales staff to meet all sales quotas or budget requirements for income
• Networking with other businesses, organizations and agencies to prompt the radio station and increase the market for advertising
• Developing budget plans, employee schedules and overseeing the daily operation of the station.
• Liaise between the Director of Rumoh PMI and the employees and works to make sure that all employees are following the goals with regards to the type of station and level of professionalism
• Provide reports and assessments of Radio Rumoh PMI as required and requested from the Director of Radio Rumoh PMI.
